Friendly Home in Barnes, near River and Park

Hi!

We have one room coming available in our home - the room is upstairs, with a view of the garden. The house is on a quiet residential street, with plenty of natural light and a lovely garden that catches the sun in the summer.

It's a really nice area to live in - Putney and Barnes are close, with all their cafes/ restaurants etc. Richmond Park is an easy walk or bike ride away. It is also very close to the river, which has a great tree-lined path for running/ cycling in the weekends.

There are excellent transport links available:
- Barnes Station is a short 10 min walk away.
- From here, there are regular trains to Clapham Junction (15 min) and Waterloo (20 min).
- There are also regular buses to Hammersmith (taking 10 min, operating 24 hrs/ day).
- Putney is an easy walk in 15-20 min or 7-10 min by bus.

There are all the usual amenities (modern boiler, good pressure/ temperature water, high-speed wifi, TV etc.) There is a large lounge and well-fitted kitchen (inc. dishwasher). All windows are double-glazed, meaning improved warmth and reduced noise.

Bills are usually about £70-80/month (all inclusive i. e. council tax, electricity, gas, water, broadband and TV licence).

There is a side access to the rear garden (i. e. good security for bicycles). For those with cars, there is always plenty of free street parking available close by.

The room has good storage space and comes with a bed, desk, chair and chest of drawers. It is on the small side, so this should be considered if you would prefer to work from home. There is space on the dining table if you do want to WFH.
