The One with the Balcony (and Your Own Loo)

Big, bright room opening up in a lovely shared home 🌿

We’ve got a very good-sized private bedroom becoming available in our Putney home (converted from the original living room, but fully separate and private) lowkey the main character of the house.

The room:

• Properly spacious, with lots of natural light
• Your own balcony 🌿 great for morning coffee, late-night calls, plants you’ll try not to kill, etc.
• Most furniture can stay, as seen in the photos
• A loo just outside the room 🚽 technically shared, but primarily used by whoever has the room

The house:

There’s a separate shared bathroom + a small study corner for WFH days, deadlines, or sitting there staring at your laptop.

Small but mighty kitchen, has all the basics covered: gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, plus a washing machine and dryer. Basically everything you need, without pretending we’re running a restaurant. 😌

Managed through Dexters, so things get fixed without emotional damage. It’s clean, calm and feels like an actual home.. not one of those “everyone stays in their room and avoids eye contact” situations.

• keeps things clean-ish (we’re not militant, just civilised)
• enjoys a friendly home but doesn’t need forced bonding
• is up for the occasional “what are you cooking?” conversation
• understands that cleaning is a shared trauma

Warm, low-pressure, not too curated, not too chaotic, just real. A home that feels more like a collective than just a place to sleep.
