Unusual and interesting offer

I am a 59 year old teacher and I live in a nice ground floor flat with my disabled wife , Emily. The room on offer is comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. We are looking for someone to come and live with us for free, and we would pay for food and bills. In exchange, you would be available to help Emily during the day. Ideally you would accompany her to the gym or help her with exercises at home. Alongside this you would be expected to do some light chores around the house. In total, you would be expected to spend about 3 hours a day on this type of work (15 hours a week). The role would suit someone who works evenings, or can work from home whilst keeping an eye on Emily. I am retiring in December so will have more free time. We have done this arrangement a few times and it has worked well. We have a culture of helping each other out, and other family members live close by. Obviously, we are looking for the right person, and we are flexible about coming to a mutually beneficial arrangement. Parkinson's is a movement disorder. Emily is able to walk around the house and garden and is quite independent. She struggles with technology - writing emails, messages etc. and other cognitively demanding tasks. You would not be required to be around at weekends. In addition to English, I speak Spanish and my wife speaks English and French.

The room is available from the 18th August onwards.
