Amazing Double Room in Queen’s Park

Hi! I’m looking for somebody to take over my room in this amazing, big 3-bedroom flat in Queen’s Park.

Transport / Location:

It’s a 5 minute walk from Lonsdale Road, a very cute street filled with delicious spots like Don’t Tell Dad, Bar Blondie and Wolfpack. It’s super well connected, you are a 10-minute walk from Queen’s Park Station (Bakerloo and Lioness line), a 15-minute walk to Kilburn (Jubilee) and a 7 minute walk to Brondsebury Park (Mildmay Line), plus buses to central. You are also quite close to Maida Vale, Notting Hill and Paddington. Queen’s Park is so lovely, the high St too. We’re also close to a (weirdly nice) graveyard where people often go for a jog!

Your room:

The room is medium-sized and very cosy. It comes with a bed, wardrobe, desk and chair. I’ve lived in it for almost 3 years and it’s honestly been one of the best places I’ve lived in London. You would be sharing the bathroom with one other person, the other flatmate has an en-suite.

The flat is renovated, in really good condition, with a lovely big open space kitchen and living room. There’s a dining table and 2 comfy sofas and an amazing terrace that you can enjoy when there’s a sunny day. There’s also bike storage available. The bills are not included in the rent. Currently bills come to approx £150 per month, including council tax.

FLATMATES!:

You would be sharing the flat with Cristi (M,35) and Hanniah (F,26) they are lovely people, calm and clean. We would be looking for someone with a similar energy, that likes to have a chat and is up for a coffee/drink/walk, but also likes to spend time alone.

Other good to know!:

- Both Hanniah and Cristi have partners who stay over 1-2 nights per week. Both partners are lovely / chatty :) But respect the common area space.
- Hanniah is regularly WFH on Monday, Thursday and Fridays from the Kitchen table. She often has meeting calls, with her headphones on.
- Cristi also WFH but usually from his bedroom.
- You will be sharing the main bathroom with Hanniah (F). She is clean and tidy, and we are hoping our future flatmate will match that
- Fully furnished kitchen, and drying racks. We dry clothes in the main room where there’s plenty of space!
- We are managed by a large estate agent

Who we are looking for!:

Hanniah and Cristi are really hoping to find someone we get along well with, with our age range (26-35). We are open to all genders. We get along well, chat in the kitchen about work and life! We love the calm vibe we currently have at home (other than partners coming round, we occasionally have a friend over for dinner, and we let the other flatmates know in advance. Family have also stayed several nights here and there). Although we like to think we are fun, this isn’t a party house. We don’t have a cleaning rota but are all proactive in cleaning/ taking out bins/ buying communal kitchen and bathroom products. We often have a cleaner every few weeks also (included in bills of approx £150 per month). Hygiene is definitely something we value:)
