We are a 7min walk from Raynes Park Station (SWR), about 15mins from Wimbledon Chase Station (Thameslink) and around 25mins walk or even shorter bus from Wimbledon Centre (District Line/Trams). Wimbledon Common is a 10 minute walk up the hill and there are multiple shops and gyms on Raynes Park high street also just around 5 minutes away - including a big Waitrose. The house has a fully fitted kitchen, plenty of cabinet and fridge space and a washer/dryer that does actually dry! There is also a Juliet balcony off the dining area and a lovely private garden with garden beds, a storage shed, a gazebo, patio furniture and a barbecue. The entire top floor of this flat is available as my two housemates are both moving out to live with their partners. The agency has only given us a few weeks to find new tenants so we are keen to do viewings and decide on someone right away!
This space is ideal for either two sharers or one person who may want an extra room for WFH or storage. Both rooms have a huge amount of light and storage and have been done up to a lovely modern standard. Upstairs also has its own bathroom with a lovely high pressure rain shower. You’ll be joining myself - I’m a 29 year old English teacher who works at a school in the area. I’m always out all day for work so if you work from home you’ll always have a quiet environment. My room and bathroom are on the ground floor so you’ll have complete privacy upstairs. I enjoy art museums and the theatre as well as vintage shopping and afternoons in the park. I love to be social but am also content to keep to myself with quieter or busier housemates. Ideally we are looking for 21+ professionals who want a long-term place to rent in a quiet, safe, green, but still well-connected part of London.
