I’ve been living at this brilliant three bed property for almost a year now, and it’s a really lovely place. The room that is available is a nicely sized double room with a large built in wardrobe, drawers, a desk and bed with storage underneath included. The sun comes in the windows in the morning, and then goes to the other side of the house around the afternoon which leaves the room nice and cool in the evening.
The property also includes a spacious living room which includes a dining table, chairs, sofa and coffee table. There is a TV with an Amazon Fire TV stick so that you can watch whatever you’d like which is provided by my current housemate and tenant who will be remaining in the property.
The kitchen is a good size, with a big fridge-freezer, a washer-dryer, 4 electric hobs, oven and lots of cupboard space.
The bathroom is split between a toilet room and shower room which makes it very easy to share between three people, and they are all working well and very clean.
The property is heated by electric heaters so there is no gas bill, only electric and water for utilities. Bills typically average £80-150 depending on the time of year between council tax, electric, water and WIFI.
Overall it’s a great property with brilliant transport links, I have never had an issue getting around London as Barnes station is very close and will take you directly into Waterloo and buses run regularly both at the front and back of the house. There is a Londis downstairs which is open most of the day for essentials, a small Tesco a 15 minute walk away for other things as well as bigger shops if you take a 15-20 minute bus trip into Putney which has a fantastic town centre. There is also a library in the centre of Roehampton as well as a great pub there with awesome food!
