We have a comfortable top-floor en-suite loft room available in our modern mid-terrace house near Canada Water / Rotherhithe.

The room is on the top floor, so it feels relatively private and separate from the main shared areas. It comes with its own en-suite bathroom, making it suitable for someone looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable long-term home.

The house is spacious and well looked after. The shared kitchen and living room are on the first floor, and there is also a small garden at the back of the house.

Transport links are convenient:

* Around 5 minutes’ walk to Rotherhithe Pier, with ferry access to Canary Wharf
* Around 5 minutes by bus to Canada Water station

The room is available from 27 July. We are mainly looking for a long-term lodger.

Rent is £1,200 per month, including all bills:

* Fibre broadband
* Regular cleaner

You would be sharing with me, a computer programmer; my wife, a physiotherapist who enjoys cooking; our 2-year-old daughter; and one other lodger, who is a student.

The house has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We sometimes have meals together, but overall it is a quiet and comfortable home.
