Double room available in a bright, airy 2-bed flat in a fantastic Rotherhithe location — genuinely a bit of an oasis in central London near the river.

You’ll be sharing with just me (live-in landlord), so it’s a calm home with only two people in total. This setup tends to suit someone who values their own space and routine.

This room is ideal for a 2–4 month stay (work contract, relocation, or between moves), though longer stays are welcome for the right lodger.

This is where the area really shines:
4 mins walk to Greenland Dock (river ferry to Canary Wharf or St Katharine’s Dock)
8 mins walk to the Hilton ferry to Canary Wharf
12 mins scenic walk via Greenland Dock to Surrey Quays Shopping Centre (Tesco Superstore) and tube
5 mins by bus to Canada Water (15 min walk)
Easy access to Rotherhithe Overground
Direct buses to London Bridge, Waterloo & Victoria

Surrey Quays docks, nearby woodlands and the Thames path offer great jogging routes. There are also four good local pubs within walking distance.

Despite being so well connected, the area feels peaceful and tucked away.

I’m Irish, have travelled quite a bit and have been based in London for some time. Interests include rugby (watching, not playing), sailing, yoga, photography and attempting to play golf.
I’m friendly and helpful, but this is very much a calm home rather than a social house-share. Everyone has their own routine and space.

Occasionally, a friend’s dog may stay.
