2 big rooms in our queer 4-bed house, S. Tottenham

we have two double rooms coming available in our queer 4-bed house in South Tottenham. bright and spacious, spread over three floors with a big sunny living room, cute kitchen you can sit and eat in, and a little porch/balcony leading down to a garden with space to keep our bikes.

we’re also blessed w amazing transport links : less than 5 min walk to Seven Sisters (for Victoria Line, and overground) and South Tottenham (overground), and buses from right outside. Big Tesco, Lidl, and Seven Sisters Market also a short walk away, several parks, and close to the canals for cute summer walks & cycles down into Hackney and Walthamstow Marshes.

THE ROOMS

1. First room : £ 785 pcm, available *no later* than 17 August. big double room with high ceilings and a beautiful sash window looking out over the garden, with gorgeous morning sun. this room is on the second floor, beside the kitchen and hallway, so probably not suitable for someone suuper sensitive to living sounds (tho we’re all v conscious of keeping noise down at night).

2. Second room : £ 910 pcm, available *no later* than 17 September, but can move in earlier if needed. HUGE room on the top/third floor with two big windows facing west over our very quiet street, gets beautiful light all afternoon & evening.

HOUSEMATES

you’ll be living with iago and ellie - both queer 30-somethings working in journalism and the charity sector. we like cooking, reading, writing, leftist politics, working on our garden, watching films.

iago is trans, queer, and latino, from the caribbean living in london now ten years, and ellie is a cis white lesbian from the uk. we have a warm, friendly vibe in the house, like catching up at the end of the day, sharing food/a drink in the garden from time to time, but also prefer to keep it a calm, peaceful space - this isn’t a party house :`~) - and we’re respectful of one another’s space and schedules.

[ we also live with iago's beautiful cat named bug - so can’t accept any more pets, sorry! ]

we're looking for someone who wants to stay here long-term, and who is available to move into the first room *no later than 17 August*, and the second room *no later than 17 September*.

BILLS & DEPOSIT

bills are not included, and come to ~£110 per month.
each room also pays a deposit of £807.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO

- house is split over three floors. first bedroom is on the same floor as the kitchen, accessed by a flight of 15 steps. the shared bathroom (and second bedroom) is located on the top floor, accessed by fifteen more steps.
- garden is accessed by a flight of 15 steps down from the kitchen
- there is no intercom door entry system.
