A double room available in a lovely, well-connected flat in Shadwell.

The flat has 4 bedrooms in total, 98sqm, a shared living/dining space, kitchen, a cosy balcony, two bathrooms and several additional storage cupboards.

The flat is around 10 minutes from Shadwell Station and 20-minute walk from Whitechapel Station, with both the Overground and DLR nearby. There is also a bus stop almost directly outside the flat, served by the 15, 115 and 135 routes.

The room is a furnished double on the top floor of the house, with a nice view from the window. It comes with a double bed, wardrobe, desk and drawers. Please note that the clothing rack, chair and IKEA Kallax shelving shown in the room are not included. There is enough space to work comfortably from home, and additional storage is available elsewhere in the flat if needed.

Rent is £1,100 per month. The rent is the same for a single person or a couple. Bills are approximately £70 per month and include electricity, gas, water, Wi-Fi and council tax (Band C).

About us

You’ll be sharing with three friends aged 24–29. Young professionals working full-time. We’re friendly and outgoing, and the flat has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We keep the shared spaces clean and tidy and are looking for someone who would fit naturally into the household.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a friendly, considerate and easy-going single person or couple who will treat the flat as their home and be respectful of the shared spaces.

We would ideally like someone looking to stay long term, but we are also open to shorter stays of at least 2–3 months. For a short-term stay, the arrangement would be a sublet from the existing tenant. For a long-term stay, you would replace the outgoing tenant on the tenancy agreement. The contract has a two-month notice period.

The room is available immediately, with 31 August preferred.
