Double Bedroom in Shepherd’s Bush

Currently looking for a flatmate to join me in a two double-bed flatshare as my current mate is moving to live with his GF (Ie, there is ONE room up for grabs, as I am the other tenant!).

My previous housemate's replacement, who was due to move in two days ago, has had his job offer retracted. In light of this, the rent has been reduced to £800/CM (from £900) as need to find someone urgently.

There's a shared loo/bathroom, a decent sized kitchen/living area and ample storage in both rooms and the hallway. We have access to the roof which is ideal in the summer evenings; it has great views, and is rarely used by the others who inhabit the building. It's worth noting that whilst access to the roof, this is on an unofficial basis. Preferably looking for a male but not majorly fussed. If you have a partner, I'm more than happy for them to stay, within reason, but don't want to share with a couple on a permanent, contractual basis.

Flat is fully furnished and overlooks SB Green. Hammersmith is a 15 min walk, and there are 4 tubes in very close proximity. Loads of shopping and amenities to be found- Westfield is 6 min walk, W12 is 4 (with a big Lidl, cinema, gym etc), and there's a big Tesco 5 mins away. Most tube lines and places are very easy to reach from this location - Notting Hill gate is two stops on the tube, Bond Street takes 20 mins door to door and you can get to Paddington in about 25 mins. Loads of pubs and restaurants (of varying degrees of quality!) at the doorstep too. Later night bars and Next Door Records is 5 mins away if that's your thing.

Spend a lot of time with my GF at her place anyway, so simply looking for someone who's happy to go for the occasional pint, has a decent sense of humour but FUNDAMENTALLY is easy going. I'm 25 myself, went to Newcastle Uni, work in marketing and love the countryside. Ideally looking for 24-28 year olds. I'm rarely up tight as an individual and expect you to enjoy the flat as though it were your own. I can get on with everyone and anyone but I'm probably not your best bet for a flatmate if your vegan in all reality!

IMPORTANT - For clarity, there is 1 room with a double bed available (and obviously the rest of the flat to use) but not 2 bedrooms. Term ideally no less than 6 months.

IMPORTANT - Bills are not included but amount to £180/CM including everything; these are subject to change, but haven't over the last year by more than £15/CM. I cover these and they're all set up, so it's simply a question of a monthly bank transfer or direct debit! COUNCIL TAX BAND - D.
