Double Room for Rent in Shoreditch

Hey there! We’re Chanelle and Aaron, two flatmates looking for one other professional to share our 3-bed (2.5 bath) Penthouse flat in the heart of Hoxton for a minimum of 6 months as of June. Sadly our wonderful friend is moving out thanks to marriage, so looking to find someone to replace them in a lovely double room.

The location is a London dream; a 5 min walk to Hoxton station for Overground and 9 min walk to Old Street station for Underground. Close walk to Shoreditch Park, Broadway Market, London Fields, Brick Lane, Haggerston Park, and Columbia Road which make for the best of summers.

The flat is across two top floors in a modern building, with balconies for outdoor space and therefore lots of light and airiness. There’s a shared living room, kitchen, and 2.5 bathrooms (1.5 shared, 1 ensuite in my room) which means we’d each just about have our own bathroom since I have an ensuite.

The room is furnished with a double bed, drawers, desk and wardrobe. We also have three closets in the flat that we share. Equal contribution to flat maintenance (regular cleaning, meter readings, etc) is super important. Bills are approx £200 a month for all utilities, council tax and fast wifi. The flat is also great for holding in heat so we haven’t had huge surcharges in the winter for heating. We treat this flat like our home and are hoping to find someone who will care for it the same.

About us: Chanelle is a young professional working in Tech, living in London from Canada. Aaron is also a young professional working in Finance and in London from the US. Equally, we love a good time so hosting anything from boardgames nights to theme parties are more than welcome - just nothing too crazy or parties every night. We are big believers in community and communal living, so hoping to find like-minded folks in similar fields e. g professionals who also side hustle with creative projects and engage with art/community.

This flat is perfectly placed for summer evenings in Shoreditch park, potluck dinners, pub drinks after work, or spontaneous karaoke nights and so if this sounds enticing for you as a living situation we’d love to hear from you. Interests include film, music, art, climbing, being active, food, therapy, and travel but generally enjoy the company of all people so do reach out if any of this seems ideal to you too!
