I am leaving my spacious and cosy room on Shoreditch High St as I am moving out of UK after many years here.
It's a great location in Shoreditch, with easy access to a lot of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and multiple transport routes.
The flat is around 120 square meters. There are 3 double bedrooms in the flat, one bathroom with a bath, one fully-equipped kitchen with two fridges, and a big living room. One of those cool "must be seen" flats in East London.
The living room is really spacious and we do like lounging around; it features a great training mat and exercise corner, as well as gymnastics rings (how many flats can you find with gymnastic rings?🙂)
Despite a lot going on around the streets, we keep the flat as a nice, clean and chilled space. It's not a party flat but we do have friends over for dinners and drinks.
The room:
It's a good size double room with double-glazed windows and beautiful exposed brick walls. The bedroom comes partly furnished - I am planning to take most of my furniture with me, but the bed stays and some items will stay.
The rest of the flat and living room are fully-furnished and fully-equipped.
You:
We are looking for someone who is good at bringing up issues and resolving conflicts - we have a group chat and like it to be proactive about brining up things before they get serious. We clean and maintain the flat ourselves and we'd like someone that's happy to contribute to that and make the place feel like a home. The person taking on the room will be automatically inheriting some beautiful plants 🙂
The flat is queer/ trans/global majority friendly. And would NOT suit someone who works fully remote.
Remaining Housemates:
- Noah, 45, Canadian; philosophy lecturer, social entrepreneur and dancer.
- Joan Vicent, 34, Spanish; likes cheese and works in the videogame industry.
We all keep pretty busy doing our things, but we enjoy each other's company when we happen to be all around. Occasionally eat together, play a game or watch some silly TV.
