A large, quiet double room is available in our 3-bed, 2.5-bath flat in beautiful South Kensington. The room has doors opening onto a courtyard and comes fully furnished with a bed, bedside tables, drawers, wardrobe, and bookcase. You'd share a bathroom with one other housemate.

The flat is spread over two floors, with a separate living room and kitchen/dining area. I've been here almost 6 years, and the private landlord and handyman are great to deal with and quick to act.

The location is hard to beat: Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are 5 minutes away, and Gloucester Road tube is a 7-minute walk. Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco Express, Whole Foods, and M&S are all within easy walking distance.

Rent is £1,000pm plus bills of approx £200pm, which cover everything: council tax, wifi, electricity, gas, water, and a fortnightly cleaner.

We're two professional women in our 30s, one American and one Canadian. It's not a party house, but we like to host the odd get-together. We each lead busy, social lives and enjoy coming together for the occasional housemate dinner, drinks, and more.
