Warm double room in a friendly family home

Looking for a place that feels like home rather than just somewhere to sleep? We're a friendly family of three (mum, dad and our teenage daughter), plus Star, our very sociable dog, and we have a lovely double room available in our modern maisonette.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, a double wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a desk and chair, so it's ready to move into. You'd share a bathroom with one other person. It has a bath with a shower over it and a heated towel rail, which makes it toasty warm on January mornings.

The flat sits in a quiet, gated community with genuinely friendly neighbours, and West Green itself is a close-knit, welcoming neighbourhood. It's the kind of place where people say hello in the street and you quickly start to feel part of things. You'll have use of the kitchen, with your own large cupboard and your own section of the fridge and freezer. The washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer are all available to you too.

The location is hard to beat. You're between Turnpike Lane and Seven Sisters on the Piccadilly and Victoria lines, with the 41, 67, 230 and 341 bus routes all close by. The high street has everything: The Green Rooms for a pint, Sparrow for Japanese food, a great coffee shop, florist, organic fruit and veg shop, a new Vietnamese supermarket, and a 24-hour Turkish supermarket for those 11pm emergencies!

We're a vegetarian household. You're welcome to cook meat now and then, but if it's on the menu most nights, we're probably not the right fit.
