Double room in a lovely 3 bedroom house. The house is located very close to South Wimbledon (Northern Line) and is shared with 3 friendly housemates. I am a currently tenant, I am moving out due to being closer to work.
THE HOUSE:
- Massive living room with lounge and dining areas.
- Good sized kitchen with all required home appliances provided (including dishwasher and washing machine)
- Rear garden accessed from the living room and the kitchen, which is easy to maintain and great for BBQs. The garden has a spacious shed that we use for additional storage, bikes and where we have a supplementary freezer.
- The house is kept clean and presentable, with a cleaner coming twice a month. We are looking for someone/a couple that would also care about keeping the home clean and tidy.
- Street parking can be organised via permit with Merton Council.
- Council Tax Band E.
THE BEDROOM:
- A comfortable double bedroom
- Plenty of cupboard and wardrobe storage as shown on pictures.
- The room is orientated towards the garden, with a small balcony. It is very quiet; you won’t hear noise from the street.
HOUSEMATES:
- The house is shared with three other friendly tenants, a couple on the top floor and a single occupant on the first floor.
All housemates are very easy going, clean and are great for a chat.
- Laura, a 36 year old Spanish lady and her partner Javier.

THE LOCAL AREA & PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
- The local area is close to gyms, a park a few streets away, plus plenty of pubs and local Sainsbury/Tesco grocery stores nearby. There is lots to do including a cinema, New Wimbledon theatre and Wimbledon Quarter is a 15 minute walk.
- The Sainsbury Merton Superstore is an easy 15 mins walk away and the Tandem Centre at Colliers Wood 20 mins walk away.
- Public transport options are fantastic with South Wimbledon tube station 5 mins walk away, Wimbledon Station for the District Line and South Western Railway overground trains 20 mins away along with great bus and tram connections.
- The neighbourhood atmosphere around the Wimbledon Tennis Championships is a true highlight every year!
COSTS & AVAILABILITY:
- Looking for a professional individual to move in from the end of April 2026 onwards, as I am flexible for a month after this date and can move out earlier (although my official date is 9th May.)
- The rent price is £655 per month, with bills usually no more than £850 per month which is worked out monthly (including cleaner and broadband).
