Lovely double room in Southfields

Hi everyone!

Our housemates have moved out to go travelling, so we’re looking for someone new to move in.

The room:
Spacious double room, airy and bright, with a big wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk.

Bills:
Council tax band C (Wandsworth has the most affordable council tax). Bills come to around £99 a month each (between 3 people).

The house:
Three bedrooms (including one small spare room), kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, shared bathroom plus separate toilet, living/dining room with a TV and large table, and a balcony.

Location:
10-minute walk to Southfields station for the tube (District Line). Wimbledon common is nearby, which is great for walks, Saturday Parkrun and has a great pub. Southfields itself has lots of nice coffee shops and is super handy when Wimbledon starts. Parking is also available.

The people:
I’m Frankie (29) and I work as a Food Technologist at Itsu. I live with my boyfriend Alex (29), who works in Chemical Engineering. We’re both friendly, easygoing and considerate people who like to keep the place tidy and relaxed.

We really enjoyed living with our previous housemates (also a couple), we’d cook for each other, hang out as a house, but also all had our own lives and friends too. We’d love to find someone with a similar vibe who’s up for a chat, dinner or pub trip, while still enjoying their own space and independence. Alex will be in the flat until September when he has to move for work.

I love cooking and having friends round for dinner, and I enjoy exploring London as well as getting out into the countryside for walks. Alex is pretty sporty, goes to the gym and occasionally plays football (he’s a big Wrexham fan). We both enjoy running and I play netball too (not very well).
