A delightful large single room, overlooking the garden, is available in our very pleasant, spacious, Edwardian house in Southgate, north London from 1st August 2026 We have a warm, clean and friendly home in which you will have your own space and privacy.

I am the homeowner in my 60’s and the other lodger is a woman in her 40’s.

The energy here is calm, kind and friendly but not young party.

The house is very near The Cherry Tree on The Green, where there are local shops and restaurants, and within a short walking distance of 2 large parks, Palmers Green overground train, Southgate underground on the Piccadilly line (zone 4), and local buses. Our postcode is N14. in Zone 4

The room will be £600 per calender month inclusive of all bills and includes free broadband internet access.

You will be sharing facilities, including two bath/shower rooms, with the owner and one other. You are welcome to sit out in our sunny South-facing garden.

The atmosphere in the house is pleasant and we are considerate and helpful towards each other.

You will need excellent references, to be kind and good willed and to be a non-smoker. There is a £350 deposit to hold the room which is returned to you when you leave. The rent is usually paid on 1st of the month
