🛏️ The rooms and the flat 🏠
We have two double rooms available for £1075 (plus bills approx £100) per calendar month.
The two rooms are available from 21st and 27th June, but might be able to be flexible on move in date.
The flat is very spacious, spread out across the top floor of a former clergy house (it’s a cool building).
The rooms are both good-sized doubles with big windows. They come unfurnished but one of the rooms has a large built-in wardrobe while the other room has a set of built-in shelves.
We have a big kitchen so there’s plenty of space for everyone to cook. The living room is also big and it’s a comfortable place to hang out and host friends.
There's one shared bathroom and a separate shared toilet room.
The flat is also well insulated in terms of noise, so you’ll have no trouble sleeping if you fancy an early night and we’re considerate of each other’s schedules too.
Tucked away inside the building there’s a communal courtyard for all the residents to share and it comes with secure and covered bike storage.
The star attraction of the flat is our large private roof terrace with views of the Shard, great for hanging out in the sunshine with drinks and bbqs!
📍 Location 🗺️
The location couldn’t be better. We’re a few minutes walk from Southwark station (Jubilee line) and we’re less than 10 minutes walk from Waterloo station (Bakerloo, Northern, Waterloo & City), Borough station (Northern line) or Blackfriars Station (Thameslink). There are also lots of buses on our doorstep that’ll quickly take you all over London.
There are tons of great bars, pubs and restaurants near the flat. There are plenty of attractions too and you can walk to places like Borough Market, the Tate Modern, the Southbank and the Thames in less than 10 minutes. The City, St Paul’s, St James’s Park, Covent Garden and Soho are all less than 30 minutes walk.
For your daily needs we have Tesco, Sainsburys, Co-op, M&S and Waitrose all within a short walk from the flat. Bigger supermarkets including two Lidls are within 30 minute walk. We also have several local gyms in the area, tennis courts, basketball courts and running clubs.
👋 The housemates 😎
Currently living in the flat are Cillian, Nick, Sarah and Zoe, but Sarah and Zoe will be moving out so the two new flatmates will join Cillian and Nick. We'd prefer to keep the gender balance if possible but more importantly we're just looking for anyone who's the right fit for the flat. We all get on, are easygoing and considerate of each-other, and enjoy chatting in the kitchen and living room with occasional drinks, or bbqs on the roof.
During the week the flat is mostly a quiet place to work and sleep while on weekends it's not unusual to have people over for barbecues, dinners, drinks.
