Bright double room available in a spacious two-bedroom flat, five minutes from St John's Wood station (Jubilee line). Perfect for someone coming to London on a short-term basis — ideal stay is 1+ month to 6 months (open to discussion). Also open to a full take-over as I travel often.

THE ROOM:

Double bed with storage, desk, dresser, and built-in wardrobe with hanging space and overhead storage.

THE FLAT:

Fourth floor with lift. Sun-filled living/dining room (direct light from sunrise to midday) with balcony. Galley kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, and all the kit if you like to cook — Instant Pot, slow cooker, MagiMix, kettle, milk frother. Separate toilet (with handheld bidet) and separate bathroom with bathtub. The two bedrooms sit on either side of the bathroom, so you'll have privacy. Weekly cleaner for common areas.

THE AREA:

Five minutes to Regent's Park, eight to Primrose Hill and its skyline views. Great local high street with cafés, grocers, charity shops, and a Tesco Express. 25-minute walk to Marylebone, 45 to Oxford Street. Very quiet, very safe neighbourhood.

ABOUT ME:

I'm 41, run my own marketing consultancy, and travel fairly often for work and pleasure. Originally European, moved here from NYC. I'm tidy, sociable but not constantly around, and know when to chat versus give space. I do reformer Pilates several times a week, love good food (happy to share a meal now and then), and keep my home peaceful — no parties.

ABOUT YOU:

Respectful, curious, low-key. Someone who appreciates culture, travel, and a calm home. No couples. No smoking indoors. Well-behaved, housetrained pets welcome (no cats — the furniture won't survive, sorry).

- £1,700/month, bills included (Fibre internet, weekly housekeeper for common areas in addition to all other monthly utilities)
