My name is Donato and I’m renting out a double room at my 2bedroom flat in Stepney Green (highlighted on floor plan).
Have a look at the pictures of the place, the room for rent is a good size (3m x 3.5) with brand new wood flooring, a big floor to ceiling windows and built in wardrobe. The room will be unfurnished but I can buy furniture based also in the new tenant preference (within limits of common sense). There is plenty of storage in the flat and will make space for the new tenant to store items if needed
The living space is a very good size (7m x 4m), nice and bright with a 50 inch screen tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime & internet included and a sound system with turntables. there's a big extendable sofa and in the kitchen all the appliances you need from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher , air frier to also a steamer.
There is also a good size balcony and we get plenty of sun light during the day The building is not old and some renovations are already in place to keep it up to modern standards, has cctv throughout with electronic fob to enter and also an internal courtyard with a bike shed.
The flat is located between 3 well connected tube stations (Stepney green, Mile End and limehouse) but Whitechapel on the Lizzy line is easily walkable, and there’s also the Genesis Cinema not far at all. at less than 20 mins walk and you can also easily walk to Canary Wharf or Bank, Liv. Street, brick lane etc. Another plus of this is location is the canal located just 2 mins walk from where you can go all the way to Victoria park or Mile End park where you can find a Better Gym with swimming pool etc
Right downstairs there’s a bus stop, an off licence open till late, a cost-cutter, a an Asian groceries shop, a bakery, a post office, a barber shop, a pharmacy, as well as the Stepney Green farm where they have a lovely cafe and also farmers market on Saturday morning.
I am looking for a professional who’s clean and tidy, can enjoy a conversation while having dinner or watch a movie together but can only also enjoy time alone. I often travel or spend weekends away, topically once a month so on occasions you will also have the place all for yourself. I work in a hotel usually Tuesdays to Saturdays mostly Sundays and Mondays are my days off and attend events regularly during the evening. I would prefer somebody who DOESN’t work from home and has a social life just to keep enough balance between staying home and going out.
No Smoking allowed inside but I’m ok with smoking on the balcony
I am fine with either a Male or Female lodger, sense of humour is a must!
