Double Room in Lovely East London House

Double room in a lovely 5 bed house, available from 19th October. Short term lets and sublets considered!

The house

You’d be joining four other professionals / mature students. It’s currently an all girl house and we’d probably like to keep it that way, but we’re open to the right person!

Everyone is happy doing their own thing, but we also come together to watch a series or have the odd dinner or BBQ. Some of us run together on Fridays before work, others bake. It’s all very wholesome.

I’ve been here nearly four years and have made some great friends through SpareRoom, from the USA, Germany, France and a few Brits too.

The room is a double facing onto the garden. We’ve got a big yard with a BBQ and, randomly, what we like to think is London’s biggest palm tree.

We value keeping the house clean and tidy and would love someone who’s after a similar balance of having their own space and being part of the house.

The area

We’re really well connected for transport and, crucially, close to Victoria Park, which you can get to by walking along the canal. There’s also a CrossFit gym on our road and a really good local pub about five minutes away.

District line: 5 min walk
Central line: 10 min walk
Lizzy line: 20 min walk

London Bridge is literally 17 minutes by bike, and Victoria Park is about a 20 minute walk or 10 minute run away.
