I’m moving out, and we’re looking for someone to take over my room! It’s a great house share with three lovely housemates.

THE HOUSE / LOCATION

Stepney Green, E1

- 2 min walk to Stepney Green station: District + Hammersmith & City
- 10 min walk to Whitechapel: Elizabeth Line + Overground
- 10 min walk to Bethnal Green: Central Line
- 10 min walk to Victoria Park

So basically, very well connected for getting pretty much anywhere in London.

The house is on a quiet residential street and has a large living room, good-sized kitchen with dishwasher + washing machine, and a decent garden which is very nice when the sun decides to come out.

The room is a good-sized double with large windows and a built-in wardrobe. The current tenant’s desk, bookshelves and bedside table will be going, so the room will be yours to make your own, apart from the bed (also the mattress is less than a year old).

You’d be sharing a bathroom with one other person.

ABOUT US:

We’re three girls, 27-28, friends from uni and all work in the creative industry. We’re mainly office-based during the week and like our home to feel like a home, rather than an extension of work or shared accommodation.

We’re a pretty relaxed household. Weeknights are usually quiet, lots of trash TV, films and chats in the living room. Weekends might involve brunch, a mooch around East London and a cosy pub.

We’re sociable and enjoy doing things together, but equally everyone has their own life and we’re respectful of each other’s space. We like the house to be clean and tidy and generally just want it to be somewhere you actually enjoy coming home to.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone around a similar age / stage of life who is:

- Independent and has their own thing going on
- Clean, tidy and respectful
- Sociable but also appreciates a quiet night in
- Into good food, drinks, films, trash TV etc.
- Not fully WFH ideally someone who gets out of the house during the week like the rest of us
- Looking for a proper home rather than just somewhere to sleep

No couples, sorry!
