Hi there! I am looking for a mature professional person as a lodger for a double room in Stepney, E1 at £900 pcm fully inclusive from mid-December. Short term, i. e. 3-6 months. Negotiable rates for pied-a-terre or part-time (e. g. Monday-Friday, Sunday-Thursday, term-times only, etc.) Also would consider a mature student.

Large relaxed space including separate lounge/front room and dining/music/work room for someone who likes a quiet and civilised life. Smart TV and fast fibre broadband. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas hobs, multi-oven, fan microwave, bath, great powerful shower, airing cupboard and drying balustrade, etc.

You'll share day to day life in a large maisonette with terrace and garden with an easy-going laid-back gay man. I work very variable hours and so you may have the place to yourself at different times of the day.

Omnivore preferred as I like to share cooking, and dining together, whenever suitable occasions present themselves.

BBC Radio 4, 4X, 3, 3U and Classic FM, conversation, classical music, playing piano, singing, cooking and reading a common theme. Superb location, easy transport links. 7 minute walk to Queen Mary University..

There's a 15 m x 5 m garden (shared with the flat on the ground floor) and 3 m x 4 m terrace (exclusive use for the flat). If you’re a keen gardener you'll have an entire garden with lawn, borders, ponds and storage alley to play with

ACCESSIBILITY: Not wheelchair accessible. 16 stairs from ground to kitchen level. 2 stairs to terrace. 16 stairs to garden. 2 stairs to living area and toilet on first floor. 16 stairs to bedrooms and bathroom/toilet on second floor. Entry phone on first and second floors.
REFERENCES: Written references from previous landlords required, otherwise other acceptable means of reference that can be discussed.
TERM: Monthly rent in advance on the 1st of each month pro-rata. Ongoing with one month’s notice either way.
