Well located Double room in a lovely 2 bed flat

My current lodger is leaving after 3 years for a job opportunity. So I am looking for a replacement to live with me as the live-in landlord. Ideally longer term, but as this is last minute, I am willing to do short term.

The flat is fully furnished, with loads of character, and is only a 5-minute walk from Stockwell tube station (Northern, Victoria), a 15-minute walk to Brixton, Clapham Common and 20 minutes' walk to Vauxhall. Loads of shops are located within 5-10 mins, as well as a few gyms.

The large shared living room and galley kitchen have everything you could possibly need, so this is best suited to someone who likes to move with minimal items.

The bedroom is not large, but there is enough room to move around easily, and there is loads of extra space in the storage bed. There is a double bed, a wardrobe, a tallboy dresser, and a small bedside stand. There is no room for a desk, but the desk in the living room makes up for the lack of desk space in the double room and is available to WFH on Mondays and Fridays. I have my own separate desk in my room.

I am a 45-year-old (but I act younger lol) cis-gay-male Canadian-born voice actor/freelancer. I am a shift worker, and I am home a fair bit in the days, as some of my work is done at home. At night I don’t go OUT-OUT like I used to, but I do work a few week nights and weekends. So I am looking for someone who preferably works 9-5 so we are not in each other's pockets. This flat is perfect for a young professional or someone new to London who wants to be out and about.

I am very friendly and polite (like a good Canadian) but can have a laugh too. I like to chat about someone’s day and watch TV together when we have the time. But I am also very independent and will not be smothering you (though a night out at a bar or pub once and a while is fun), and I like someone who is the same way.

The rent is £850, including all bills and fibre optic internet, a twice-monthly cleaner for the common areas, Netflix and 1 alternating streamer, and household cleaning supplies. I require the first month's and last month's rent upfront, but no deposit is needed. No references needed, just proof of residency in England.

The flat is on the 1st floor, and there is no lift. We are a non-smoking flat, but there is a Juliet balcony off the kitchen to smoke from if you do. Unfortunately no pets with fur are allowed, as I have allergies.
