This is a unusually large room in a huge double fronted house. It’s ideal as a work studio space and bedroom.

It’s also south facing, with large bay windows so it’s extremely bright and warm.

The rest of the house would benefit from a refurbishment, but everything works, and we also have a garden space.

You’ll be sharing with me, owner, 40’s, and one other lodger 20’s female, neuroscientist. There’s also a friendly cat.

Ideal for introverts and awkward nerdy types. We’re all pretty quiet, and very independent. No pressure, or expectation to be social. We aim to be considerate, thoughtful and kind. Please include in your message why you feel you’d fit in, besides the large room and location

Zone two, with excellent transport links. Or cycle into central London in 20 minutes.

The house is located in the heart of the fascinating Hasidic Jewish community, which is somewhat of a (very safe) ghetto, but a 5 minute walk takes you into the heart of the creative and liberal diversity of Stoke Newington, and with Dalston a 10 minute bus ride away.

Lots of quirky independent cafes, farmers market, health food shops, supermarkets, gyms etc within 10 minutes walk. Lots of green spaces and nature nearby. Including Woodberry wetlands at the end of the road.

Available up to 12 months, and potentially longer.

Rent includes council tax, water rates and broadband. Gas and electric are in addition.
