STILL AVAILABLE: This large double bedroom is available for longterm rent
The room is £725 with all bills included.
Please note, the property will likely experience a rent increase in the next year. If this room maxes out your budget it is not a good fit for you.
THE HOUSE: Classic Victorian house with hard wood floors and lots of space. The large kitchen gets loads of light, has a washer and is generally well equipped. The garden out back is also wonderful for a morning coffee or an evening drink with friends. The TV in the shared living room is set up with roku which you can link your subscriptions to and there's room to store a bike if needed.
THE ROOM: Comes equipped with a functional wardrobe w/full length mirror. There is a view out into the garden and the room comfortably fits a desk and a double bed. You'll be sharing a bathroom with 1 other person, male age 30.
LOCATION: Quiet residential road right in front of Stoke Newington Common. Minutes by foot to both Stoke Newington High Street and Church Street. Well-connected to the overground and multiple bus lines (5 minute walk to Stoke Newington overground, 10 minutes by bus to Dalston). The neighborhood is quiet during the day and friendly on weekends with a mix of young professionals and families occupying the neighboring homes. You'll be right across the street from Stoke Newington Common and in walking distance to Abney and Clissold Park.
YOU: Female preferred to keep the balance. Does not work from home and has full time job M-F. Looking for someone friendly, respectful, drama free and who cleans up after themselves. This is definitely not a party house and would be a good fit for a young professional. No pets. No vaping.
Must be clean - it's come to my attention that we keep our house exceptionally clean compared to other flats. Not an American Psycho kinda situation but expect to do your dishes + clean the hub after cooking, contribute to cleaning the shared spaces without being prompted to kinda thing. Bathroom is kept very tidy and bedroom as well.
FLAT CULTURE: We're all friendly, kind and respectful in this flat and do our best to co-exist at an age where we'd all rather be living alone 😂 we ask for what we need, share chats in the kitchen and listen to music with our headphones on so we can all decompress and be at peace here. If you're on holiday in London and wanting to party/bring people home with you, this is not the flat for you.
HOUSEMATES: Sharing with Silvester who is working on a post-doc in politics and Erik, an architect and project manager.
