I’m looking for someone to take over a large double room in a lovely house in Stoke Newington, available from 9th November 2026.

Rent: £1,200 pcm (all bills incl. council tax are included)
Room: Large double bedroom, which can be furnished apart from the desk and mattress. Open to negotiating on the contents!

The room is bright and spacious, with large windows overlooking our sunny garden, and plenty of room for a full desk setup, making it ideal if you work from home.

The house itself has a shared kitchen/dining area, enclosed garden with bike storage, and a modern bathroom with both a power shower and bath with jacuzzi settings. It’s a warm, cosy home with plenty of character, art and furniture throughout.

📍 Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: less than a 10 minute walk from Church Street and Stoke Newington High Street, with great connections to Stoke Newington overground and buses. Clissold Park and Abney Park are also nearby. Stoke Newington, Dalston Kingsland/Junction and Rectory Road Overground stations are around a 20 minute walk away, with plenty of bus routes close by.

You’ll be sharing with Anup and Siena. They’re easy-going and sociable working professionals who enjoy the occasional drink, going out and hanging out at home, but they both very much have their own lives and schedules, so the house is never overcrowded or too full-on. The room is not available for couples but a few sleepovers are definitely ok!

We’re ideally looking for someone around 25–35, but most importantly someone friendly, considerate and looking for a nice home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
