The room itself is huge! The massive room features 3 enormous windows, original floorboards, a super high pitched ceiling with 2 massive optional skylights (currently covered but the landlord doesn't mind if you want to have them open). The room comes with the heavy red curtains that keep it nice and dark in the mornings. The room benefits from being tucked away at the back of the property so it’s nice and quiet, and it’s right next to the big bathroom.
The room is unfurnished apart from the wooden chest of drawers. However we are selling all of our furniture, which you can see in the photographs. It has only been owned for 6 months and is in perfect condition. This includes:

The flat is a brilliant warehouse conversion with tons of original features. It has 5 bedrooms in total with a very large kitchen/dining/lounge, a large bathroom with a bath, a shower room and a utility room with plenty of storage plus space for your bike. This leads onto a balcony which is great for summer. The flat has a washing machine and a dishwasher.
There are currently 5 housemates who are all working professionals. Everyone is lovely and very friendly. Though everyone is very independent and has their own separate lives, there's usually always someone here if you fancy a chat or want to make dinner together. Everyone respects each others space and we all take good care of the flat. There is also a cleaner that comes once a week to clean all communal areas.
The location is fantastic and on the highly sought-after, Belfast Road. It is a 2-3 minute walk to Stoke Newington Station which has the overground plus tons of buses so you're very well connected. Church Street and Clissold Park are really close by too, plus the area has loads of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The flat itself is on the first floor, above an art gallery (not in regular use so don't worry about noise, but instead used for occasional exhibitions and installations). The flat is owned by an artist couple, who live and work in the gallery below. They are always on hand to fix anything and are very friendly and helpful.
The move in date is 1st November so we are looking for someone who can take the room from this date. We will be holding viewings in the evenings on specific days so that the other flatmates can meet you too. If you're interested in this room, please let us know more about yourself. We are looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, easy-going and clean. Everyone contributes to the running and cleaning of this home so we are looking for someone who is happy to do the same. While we all love to socialise, this usually happens outside of our flat so if you’re looking for a party house then this isn’t for you.
The rent is £900 per month with bills on top of this. Bills will be around £75 per month which includes all utilities plus broadband, council tax and the weekly cleaner. The deposit is one months rent.
