Double room available for short-term (with a view to continue if a good fit) in Stratford, close to central London. £860pcm including rent and bills.

The room is in a 3 bedroom house, sharing with the owner (I’m 43yo female, professional (nurse/midwife), another lodger (35yo female, professional) and Jem the cat. The house is recently renovated, well maintained and a lovely inviting home! Looking for a quiet, respectful, and friendly housemate.

The house is just one block from West Ham Park, 13 minutes’ walk from Stratford Mall/Stratford station, 17 minutes from Westfield, and 10 minutes’ walk from Maryland station, with a big Morrison’s grocery store 5 minutes away, plus Sainsbury’s/Tesco’s 3 minutes’ walk, as well as cafes nearby.

The room:
Large double with double bed, chest of drawers, double wardrobe, overlooking the garden (on the back of the house, so nice and quiet).
NB: All bills are included, but you/your possessions wouldn’t be covered on my house insurance so you would need to get insurance for your own possessions.

About you:
Looking for someone friendly, clean and tidy, who would enjoy living in a peaceful house with lovely garden. No couples please, non-smoker, must love cats, no drugs in the house. Professional in 30s/40s. Prefer female.
WFH max 2 days/week (I have an office downstairs, but wouldn’t be able to share this – so you would need to work either in kitchen/from bedroom if WFH).
