Bright Double Room – Streatham, Great Transport

I’m looking for a flatmate to take a double room in my current flat share, available from the end of June, just off Streatham High Street.

It’s a really bright, comfortable space with a big living room and lots of natural light. The flat has a nice mix of modern touches and character (wooden floors, big windows etc.), and it feels very homely rather than just somewhere to stay.

The room itself is a good size and comes furnished with a double bed and a small walk-in wardrobe, with space for a desk if you work from home (a desk can be included if needed, as the current flatmate is happy to leave theirs), plus additional storage.

The flat is in a great location, just off the main high street, close to supermarkets, cafes, gym and everything you need. Streatham and Streatham Hill stations are both around a 10-minute walk, with easy bus links to Brixton and Tooting Bec (around 15 mins).

The current flatmate is moving back home, so I’m looking for someone to take over the room.

A bit about me, I’m 32 and work full-time as a comms manager for a TV production company. I’m easygoing, tidy and respectful of shared space. I like a balance of social and quiet time, happy to watch something together or have a drink now and then, but it’s not an all-the-time party flat.

I’ve been in flat shares for a while so I’m used to keeping things clean and just being considerate, it’s a pretty relaxed, easy place to live.

Ideally looking for a female flatmate who’s clean, considerate and easy to live with. Someone who’s up for the occasional yap, but also respects personal space. Probably best suited to someone who isn’t working from home full-time, a couple of days a week is ideal.
