Double room near Streatham station

I'm looking for a new flatmate to join our chilled, sociable and homely four-bedroom flat, just off Streatham High Road.

Our current flatmate is moving out, so a spacious furnished double room will be available from 7th November. The flat is a relaxed place to live — we’re all friendly and enjoy the occasional chat, dinner or drink together, but equally everyone is happy doing their own thing. We’re looking for someone respectful, easy-going and ideally of a similar age who wants a home rather than just a place to sleep.

The room is a good-sized double with plenty of natural light and comes furnished with a bed frame, large cupboard and cabinet. Our departing flatmate also has a few bits of furniture he may be happy to leave behind, so there’s some flexibility depending on what you need.
You’ll be sharing a bathroom with two other flatmates.
A couple of us work from home/hybrid, so we have super-fast Wi-Fi, and we also have a regular cleaner, which makes keeping on top of the flat nice and easy.

Rent: £925 per calendar month
Bills: approximately £100 per month, including energy, water, Wi-Fi and council tax

The flat is in a really convenient spot just off Streatham High Road, with plenty going on right on the doorstep.
Around 10 minutes' walk to both Streatham and Streatham Hill stations
Regular buses along the High Road to Tooting Bec and Brixton (around 15 minutes)
Easy access to the Northern and Victoria lines
Around 35 minutes' cycle into the City
Loads of cafés, gyms, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and independent grocers nearby
Basically, if you need it, there’s a very good chance Streatham High Street has it.

More importantly, though, we want whoever moves in to genuinely feel at home. You’ll be very welcome to have friends over, host people or have friends stay — it’s your home too.
