I have a bright, fully furnished double bedroom available in my 2-bedroom flat located in Streatham. The living room is large with a sofa, TV, dining table and chairs. The kitchen includes gas cooking hobs that are great for cooking, washing machine and dishwasher. Bathroom includes a rain shower.
The property is ideally located for commuters and local amenities:
• 10-minute walk to Streatham and Streatham Hill Station with direct links to Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon, Clapham Junction, Victoria, London Bridge, Peckham, Herne Hill and East Dulwich
• Regular buses to Brixton and the Victoria line which take 15-20 minutes and generally arrive every 2-3 minutes as there are 8 buses that head there.
• Close to the High Street with a local Lidl and Sainsburys within a 2 min walk and lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes and DIY stores so everything you need on your door step.
• Close to Tooting Common which is ideal for running and long walks and Streatham Common
I am 37, work in IT procurement and have lived in London for over 10 years. In my spare time I enjoy travel, pubs, beer, wine, watching sports, music festivals, climbing and running.
I am looking housemate who is sociable and up for a drink and conversation, and feels the flat is their home (I only moved in recently so am open to someone bringing some furniture, etc). I have a busy social life and travel extensively so they would also need to be comfortable not having a housemate around all the time.
I like to keep the flat tidy and clean up after myself, so would want someone who is the same. I would also want to ensure we have a cleaner every couple of weeks.
