✨New✨ spacious semi-detached house next to common

This wonderful massive light-filled house was used for advertising photo shoots when the family that own it still lived in it. The downstairs is fully shared, with a panelled sitting room and fireplace 🔥 a white air conditioned living-room with modernist sofas, and a rosewood credenza, and a white Italian kitchen.

We are a mixed house, as a landlord I am there only a small amount of the time as my family all now live in Somerset. We have a female yoga teacher, a psychotherapist (moving to closer to work west of london) and a male photographer. I am an IP and Art lawyer working in a law firm in the city midweek.


The house is situated only a three minute walk from the common, and is directly between the two stations, on a very quiet road, so it is very easy to get into west, central or east London. You can be on a train, at both stations, in either direction, in less than ten minutes.

The house is a spacious five bedroom house (in fact it was six originally), but, one room is my office, and I live in Somerset anyway - so it’s quite quiet as I am actually only up in London three days a week.

In one direction is the village-like Streatham Common, with the Railway pub, gym, David’s Deli and little local Sainsbury’s, in the other direction is the high street- with a massive TESCO extra and a cinema etc etc.


Included is broadband and most (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Paramount etc) of the streaming services, Council Tax, utilities as well as a cleaner that comes once every two weeks (which are £150 pcm included in the rent - so, it would be £800 without that, albeit it is mandatory).

We are looking for someone that is easygoing, preferably a professional and wants to live in an extremely nice house in a decent area.

PS - the room advertised is a double room on the top floor, with a small alcove office for home working (as pictured), it has direct loft access for storage. If interested there is additionally a slightly larger room, with a four poster bed (last photo) which would be £1300pcm inc. bills.
