Double Room in Friendly Streatham Flat! 💐

Our lovely housemate is moving in with her girlfriend, so we're looking for someone just as lovely to fill her double room in Streatham, starting 1st October!🌟

Viewings will be on August 26th and September 1st, in the evenings.

🛌The Room:

The room is a cosy double which comes with a chest of drawers and a full body mirror - a bed/mattress and a new wardrobe will be provided (different from photo).

The room has had a dog residing in it for a few years but will be cleaned pre-move in. Please note that the dog, an incredibly friendly cocker spaniel, may also be around during your viewing, but alas will be moving out before you move in.

🏠The Flat:

The building has only one other flat just below us, and a shop below that. Our flat is spread across two floors, with two bedrooms on the top floor, then two bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen and balcony space on the lower floor.

Your room will be on the lower floor, next to the stairs.

👯‍♀️The Housemates:

The flat is shared with three other housemates - Charlotte, Robyn, and Aisha.

All three work a mix of office and WFH, and while we all have independent lives, we like to get together for movie nights, pub quizzes, and a cup of tea and a chat every now and then, or exploring the markets and plant shops of SW London - we'd love someone who's up for the same!

🌆The Local Area:

Streatham Hill Station and Streatham Station are just a short walk away, giving you easy access to Central London. There's also lots of cute cafes and restaurants, a range of shops, and Tooting Common is a 10-minute stroll away. We've also got a bus stop right by us and a short journey will take you to Brixton, Balham, Clapham and Tooting.

💸The Costs:

Rent is £725 a month, paid at the beginning of every month to our landlord.

We split the bills among ourselves, reflecting the size of the rooms. Bills include energy (gas and electric), water, internet and council tax. This currently comes to about £108 for your portion.

We also pay for a cleaner to visit fortnightly to clean the communal spaces, which is approx £8 per fortnight!
