My lovely flatmate is moving out after almost three years together, so I’m looking for someone to replace her in a beautiful Surrey Quays flat.
The flat
-Spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat on 2nd floor with open plan living/kitchen/dining, separate laundry, balcony and ample storage
-Lots of natural light in living area and bedroom via large windows
-Furnished with couch, TV, dining table and chairs, kitchen appliances, washing machine, outdoor setting on balcony
-Double bedroom (main) is furnished with King bed with under bed storage, bedside tables, desk and built in wardrobes, with a door connecting to shared bathroom
-Very secure building with 24/7 concierge/security (great for package deliveries), main and second door accessible via fob only, intercom system that notifies phone (via call or app) to easily let in guests, food delivery drivers, etc
-Residents only gym in building complete with treadmills, bikes, rowers, leg press, cable machines and free weights
-Building is off the road so very quiet in the evenings (no traffic noise)
Location
-Excellent location in a very well connected area, yet still relatively quiet which provides nice balance to the busyness of central London
-Well-lit and no issues with safety if going for an evening walk or returning from work/weekend plans late
-Multiple transport options: 7 min walk to Surrey Quays station (Overground), 15 min walk to Canada Water station (Jubilee line and Overground), multiple bus stops close by (the nearest just a 1 min walk)
-Tesco Express at bottom of building, Co-Op 2 min walk, Tesco Extra 8 min walk
-Dry cleaner, multiple cafes, delicatessen, hair dresser/nail/beauty salon, yoga studio, several gyms, reformer Pilates studio, physio etc all within 2 mins walk
-Canada Water weekend market and Corner Corner food/entertainment precinct 12 min walk

-32 y/o Australian female working in advertising (3 days/week in office)
-I am very social and lead a busy life, and love to cook, exercise, travel (away frequently in Summer and at Christmas), wine and dine (natural vino and small plates, please), but equally appreciate a Sunday Netflix session on the couch
-I’m really easy going, as long as you’re clean and respectful
You
-Full-time working professional who is in the office/hybrid (no 100% wfh unfortunately)
-Very clean and tidy, non-smoker with no pets
-Sociable and happy to have a chat over a glass of wine, watch Netflix or perhaps visit a spot on my ever-growing restaurant list together, but also respectful of personal space
The fine print
-Rent for the room is £1,250 pcm (bills not included)
-Deposit £980
-Bills are approx. £200 each pcm, which includes council tax, electricity, water, gas and internet
-Move in date 20 June
