Single room in waterfront flat

Room in 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat. 1st floor in a gated property with gated parking. Located on south dock marina with the kitchen and living room having views on to the marina.
I bought the place last spring and have since had the flooring re-done and both the kitchen and bathroom refurbished.

I'm posting this having just found out my flatmate needs to move out soon so I still need to take some more, newer photos which I will add asap!

I don't have pets yet but am planning on adopting a couple of kittens in August - I'm very excited! So have marked this property as having pets in advance of that.

Single room, furnished with a single bed that pulls out into a double/spare bed, a desk, and a wardrobe.

No smoking/vaping inside the flat, including out the windows. Looking to share with someone who does not smoke or vape, but important to note for any guests you may have over.

The area is quiet and residential. Everyone in the gated development are good at looking out for each other and ensuring the space is safe and welcoming.

About me:
I work in social care supporting foster carers and am also doing a part time masters to become a systemic psychotherapist. My main hobbies are singing in a choir and playing hockey. I'm queer and neurodivergent and very leftist - my flat has a strict no bigotry policy!

Living environment:
I work from home most days so need a fairly quiet flat during the day. I like to keep the space pretty clean and tidy. I enjoy a balance between being social while also having time to myself. Love to throw the occasional dinner party/little social gathering and would absolutely invite a flatmate to do the same!
