Spacious double room in a house of new friends

I'm Indea and I'm looking for someone to fill my space in our lovely flat. I’m moving out to live with my partner and I’m jealous of whoever’s filling my spot :(

Looking for a long let ideally - to replace me in the tenancy agreement - but after 2 months, obviously totally up to you!

The room is a really spacious double, and comes with some bedspring boxes, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a desk, and a built-in storage cupboard with a clothes rail. The estate agents are pretty chill about replacing furniture though, so if you're bringing e. g. a bed frame they might not mind swapping it out!

It's spacious enough that I've also fit in a bookcase, a little table with a mirror and a bedside table. The room gets lovely light, especially in the morning, with large windows across one wall. It has a view out to the trees.

The flat has two bathrooms, with one of them being a shower room and one a toilet. The living space is combined with the kitchen. In the kitchen, we each have a cupboard and a shelf in the fridge and freezer. We don’t have a dishwasher! The flat stays very warm in the winter, and pretty cool in the summer (although these heatwaves are difficult to combat!).

My delightful flatmates are wonderful, friendly peeps who are up for a chat anytime. They are chill and funny but also happy to go out and will welcome you in kindly. One of my flatmates works in hospitality, one is a Master's student, and one is a PhD student.

We are an LGBTQ+ friendly household, and everyone is vegetarian. We'd prefer another veggie as this makes cooking a bit more simple. We'd also prefer a woman/enby. We would LOVE to find someone who's up for a silly laugh and giggle!

I pay £650 a month in rent, and about £80 in bills every month on top. The council tax band is C. We pay electricity, internet, council tax and water - no gas. Our estate agents are actually pretty great, very easy and quick to communicate with and they basically replace anything immediately if it breaks at no cost to us. We've had new door handles, new shower hoses, a new cooker, oven, fridge and washing machine all replaced in the last couple of years!

You'd have to pass a referencing check to be approved by our estate agents, but if you have a job or you're a student with a guarantor, you should be good.
