A lovely room in a friendly house share :)

Hello hello! We’re 3 friends looking for 1 housemate to join our sunny 4 bed house share in Surrey Quays.

Accessibility: The room is on the ground floor of the house. Key access for front door and inner porch door, 2 steep stairs at front door entrance, there is a door bell, no intercom. On the ground floor there are 2 stairs from the hallway down to the kitchen. 1 steep step into the garden. There are 13 stairs up to the second floor where there is a living room, and separate loo w washroom.

The house is furnished with a double bed in each room, closets or built in wardrobes, and furniture in the living room.

Rent is £705 per room plus bills (roughly £120, but less in summer), deposit of £807, and move in date is ASAP. We have lived here for 4 years and will be on a rolling contract from November :)

Regarding referencing: income requirement for this will be in the range of £28k per year
Guarantors accepted.
Benefits are not accepted unfortunately.

About the house:
The house is a well connected and just a 10 minute walk from Surrey Quays station which is on the Overground. 15 mins away is Canada Water, which is on the Jubilee Line. There’s also a bus stop under 1 min from the doorstep which can take you to peckham way, or the other side of the street is straight to london bridge.
Area is safe and residential.
The nearest supermarket (big Lidl) is just a 4 minute walk down the road and corner store less than 6 mins walk.

No pets allowed. (Although we do get frequently visited by a neighborhood cat :D)

About us:
We're very chill community oriented house. Its a nice relaxed queer/trans positive space where it’s equally comfortable being social and doing one’s own thing. We each like to have friends around from time to time, but also appreciate a peaceful environment. We all work in hospitality so our schedules are very varied, but we we'll always come together for a film night or hang out for drinks when we're all in together. :)

Jamie, 27, nb, they/them, loves literature and sludge metal 🎧
Felix, 26, transmasc, he/him, loves baking lots of treats.
We all have a variety of artistic hobbies which we partake in as well as enjoying nights out and gigs.

Felix and Jamie are vegan, so we’re v respectful about any cross-contamination if that would be a concern for you.

About you:
We’re looking for another friendly spirit who is reasonably clean and tidy within the shared spaces. Nothing super specific, just someone who will fit into the chilled Vibe that we want to maintain in the house ^~^
