Double Room in a spacious 3-bed flat

Our flatmate (and friend) is moving out at the end of Jan 2027, so we’re looking for a third person to join our home!

THE ROOM

You’ll have a fully furnished double bedroom with leafy views and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Greenland Dock. The room comes with a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and desk + chair, so you can work from home if needed.

Rent: £1,100 + bills (~£150/month)

THE FLAT

A spacious three-bedroom flat with a massive kitchen and living room. This is one of the main reasons we don’t want to move out! Having so much space means it never feels like we’re on top of each other, even when everyone is home, and there’s lots of room for hosting friends.

Includes:

• A huge, well-equipped kitchen with lots of storage space and a dishwasher

• Large living room with a TV/lounge area, dining table and two sofas, including a sofa bed

• Two bathrooms, including one enormous bathroom

• Plenty of storage

• Gorgeous views over Greenland Dock and lots of greenery around us

• A building concierge, which is extremely useful for deliveries

• A lift and secure basement for parking/bike storage

THE AREA

We’re in Surrey Quays, less than a 10-minute walk from the station and right by Greenland Dock. You get a great combination of water, greenery and peace, while still being really well connected to the rest of London. We've also found the area to be very safe.

Canada Water is super close, with loads going on, and we’re also really close to Deptford and New Cross for restaurants, pubs, cafés, sports facilities, music venues etc.

It’s a really lovely balance: quiet and peaceful around the flat, but very easy to get into central London.

There are also loads of amenities nearby:

• Small Tesco 1 minute away

• Big Tesco and Lidl nearby

• Multiple gyms and yoga studios within walking distance

• Greenland Dock and surrounding green spaces right on the doorstep

• Cute cafes and pubs within 5-10mins walking distance

ABOUT US

You’d be living with Niya and Kwang Lin, both 30. I work in tech and Kwang Lin works for a charity. We both work from home around 3 to 4 days a week.

We’re a social flat and enjoy living together. We cook together, watch TV, have dinner and craft nights and host friends who stay over. You’d absolutely be welcome to have friends over too.

At the same time, we both have our own separate social lives and like having time to ourselves too.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone communicative, considerate, clean, relaxed and warm. We’re looking for a friend and not just a co-tenant.
