✨Double bedroom in Surrey Quays/Canada Water (Zone 2) from 1 November✨

Our lovely flatmate is moving out to live with friends, so we are looking for someone to take over her room in our 4-bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse. We are signing the tenancy agreement as joint tenants and have a lovely landlord who fixes issues quickly.

🏡LOCATION🏡
The house is 5 mins from Surrey Quays overground and 10 minutes from Canada Water underground (jubilee line). We’re right by the water and it’s a really pretty location all year round, with swans frequently visiting the dock!

💸RENT AND BILLS💸
Rent is £737.50 pcm (!!!)

Bills are currently fixed at:
- Council Tax: £59.25pp
- ⁠Gas & Electricry: £37pp
- ⁠Water: £18.5pp
- ⁠Wi-fi: £7

Bills may fluctuate a bit, especially with winter coming up. We are each in charge of sorting out 1 bill, and you would take on the responsibility of getting the Council Tax bill paid every month. We all have direct debits in place to pay each other for the bills.

🛌YOUR ROOM🛌
The room faces the back of the house (back garden view) and fits a double bed, 2 wardrobes, bookshelf and desk. All furniture is included!

🛋️SHARED SPACES🛋️
On the ground floor of the flat there is a galley kitchen combined with a dining lounge area with a gorgeous window.

We have a dishwasher, air-fryer, washing machine and dryer. We also have spaces for shared cooking utensils and dishes, but also spaces for keeping our personal kitchen stuff!

There is also a little stoney garden at the back by the lounge, with plenty of sun (south facing) and garden furniture.

🛁BATHROOM🛁
The first and second floors each have two bedrooms and one bathroom. You will be on the first floor with Naomi, and you will be sharing bathroom. We each have a small amount of additional storage in the bathroom and a storage cupboard for cleaning supplies.

❣️ABOUT YOU❣️
We would love to be joined by a girl around our age, who wants to have friendly vibes in the house, but also respects that everyone lives their own life. We would love to have someone who wants to make the house feel like a home!

We enjoy having a fun house but equally adore having a space to come home to which is tranquil and cosy, as work life can be hectic. We are keen on keeping our space clean and tidy and we are all mindful of noise levels (we have a no-slamming-doors policy…). We value open communication and it’s important that we are all comfortable speaking to eachother. If anything ever does come up, we would love to chat about it early on and keep things positive and comfortable for all🫶

You’ll be joining Ida, Jess and Naomi. The house vibe is friendly but we also have independent social lives and are pretty busy with work, life, etc. We’re a mix between hybrid and office workers, everyone is a 9-5er.

Ida - Hiya, I’m Ida! I’m 26 years old, from Denmark and working full time as a trainee solicitor in Westminster (office based) whilst studying the SQE part time! In my free time I love seeing my friends, watching real housewives (sometimes with the other girls), having drinks, finding cute coffeeshops or going to markets, and making fun crochet projects (when time permits)🧚🏻‍♀️

Jess - Hi, I’m Jess, I’m 24 & I work in publishing. I enjoy reading & yoga, love going to the pub & am always up for a night out dancing to shitty pop music. (And when I have time, I love going for a long walk/hike!) I often get free books from work so am a great flatmate if you like to read.

Naomi - Hi, I’m Naomi! I’m 29, grew up in north London, and work in tech regulation. Outside of work, I spend lots of my time at the gym or in Pilates classes, going out with friends, and reading or watching things in my room. Generally into being active, eating out & going to events (when I’m not competing), and arts/history/politics/culture events and exhibitions. I’m always up for a quick chat in the kitchen!
