The bedroom to rent is a good size double bedroom (11 ft x 10 ft). Please note that all current furniture in the bedroom pictures will be replaced with brand new furniture, including: double bed, large wardrobe, desk, large mirror and picture frames. The flat has 1 large bathroom with a shower and bath. It also has a separate utility room with a washer dryer.

Crystal Palace Park is only a 1 minute walk across the road so if you like walks or picnics in the park this would be perfect for you. It's one of my favourite parks in London. Sydenham is a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride away and has all the amenities you'll need. Crystal Palace village is a 15 minute walk or a 8 minute bus ride away and has lots of wine bars, cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants. If you fancy a livelier night out Peckham is only a 30 min bus right away.

There's lots of transport options into London depending on where you want to travel too. Sydenham overground is on the Mildmay line which runs up to East London, such as Shoreditch, Dalston and Highbury & Islington. You can get the train directly to London Bridge from Sydenham station. You can also get the train from Sydenham Hill station which goes directly to Victoria and Blackfrairs stations. All stations are a 10 min walk or a few minutes on the bus.

A little bit about me. I'm Tara - a Northerner who's called London home for the past 13 years. I work in branding and I love being creative in my spare time. I love exhibitions, art, design, travel, film, cooking and wine with friends. I've been known to throw some legendary dinner parties.

I'm looking for a cool independent non-smoking 35-50 year old flatmate (no couples). Must be a professional (not suitable for students). The flat would suit someone who doesn't work from home full-time. There will be a desk in the bedroom should you need to work from home on occasions. The flat isn't a party house. I'm looking for someone chilled, clean, independent and lovely.

The rent is £1,200pm and bills are £200pm which includes broadband and a cleaner who comes twice a month to do a deep clean.
