Bedroom going in three-bed flat in Sydenham

We have a bedroom available on the top floor of a 3 floor masionette in a large terraced house in the Kirkdale bit of Sydenham. The house is on a quiet and leafy suburban cul-de-sac about two minutes from Sydenham station and close to the high street with plenty of cafés, food shops, pubs and other local spots.

The room comes with a double bed if required as well as a clothing rail. There is room for a small chest of drawers but it also has access to a decent attic space with velux windows which can be used for additional storage but also has seating for use as a reading nook.

The flat has a very large shared living room with wooden floors and large separate kitchen/dining room. There is a main bathroom upstairs and an additional toilet downstairs.

About us: One male/female couple and one female, all in our thirties, working a mixture of professional and creative jobs (journalism, academia, and events). We are old friends and always up for a chat or getting a drink, but also respectful of people wanting their own space and understand if you like to come home and switch off.

We’d preferably be looking for working professionals late 20s and older. We’d love the house to feel friendly and relaxed.

•⁠ ⁠Rent is £700 and bills are £140, which are paid together into a joint account together to cover water, electricity, gas, council tax, and internet (obviously prices may increase if bills go up this winter but we have been paying the same amount over the Summer so we have a bit of a buffer)
