Room in a friendly shared home near St George’s Hospital — £881 pcm + £110 fixed bills

We’re two doctors working at St George’s Hospital, looking for someone to take the third bedroom in the home we’ve been renting since September.

We’re long-time friends and would love to find a sociable, considerate housemate who wants to make the place feel like home. We both live far from home, so having a comfortable, welcoming space matters to us. Friends and guests are welcome, and we’re looking for someone happy to share the basic housework and help keep communal areas clean.

There’s a large TV in the shared living room, and we often have movie nights with friends—you’d always be welcome to join!

The house has reliable, high-speed internet throughout, a clean, modern kitchen and a shared bathroom. We’ve already bought dishes, cutlery, a microwave, an air fryer, toaster, kettle and other everyday essentials, which we’re happy to share as long as they’re kept clean and looked after. Our favourite feature is the lovely garden—a great place to relax during the warmer months.

We regularly work night shifts, so we’d appreciate someone mindful of noise during the day when we’re sleeping. The house is generally quiet during daytime hours, which could suit someone working from home.

The location is very convenient:
- Around an eight-minute walk from St George’s Hospital and the City St George’s, University of London campus in Tooting.
- Around a 10-minute walk from Tooting Broadway station, with Northern line connections into central London.
- Very close to Tooting High Street, with a large Sainsbury’s, a large M&S and all the essential shops nearby.
- About a five-minute walk from The Gym.
- A handy corner shop directly opposite for everyday essentials.
- A large e-bike parking area near the house—we’ve found bikes consistently available.

Rent is £881 per month, plus fixed bills of £110 per month including Wifi and Council Tax, bringing the total to £991 per month.
