Double Room in Tooting Bec

🏡 Looking for a new housemate from 21st September!

Our gorgeous housemate Anna is moving in with her boyfriend, which means I'll be moving into her room, so we're looking for someone to take mine!

The house is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet mews just off the main road, with a private gated entrance, so it feels really safe and peaceful. We've also hit the London jackpot with the loveliest landlord, who's incredibly helpful and has recently replaced lots of appliances and mattresses, so much of the house feels brand new. We also have lovely neighbours who we occasionally hang out with, which gives the mews a real community feel.

The room is on the first floor, with the shared bathroom just upstairs that you'll share with two other girls. (There is an additional toilet on the ground floor). The bedroom comes with a massive double wardrobe with huge mirrors (and trust me you can fit so many bags and shoes in it’s amazing!) a chest of drawers, bedside table and a built in desk. Theres also loads of shelve space too!

The house has a huge kitchen and living room that's perfect for cooking, relaxing, or hosting friends. We have an under the stairs closet which is great for storing bits and bobs you don’t want cluttering your room too. We also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks, plus a lovely little courtyard that Lydia and I are always adding plants and flowers to. It’s a lovely space in the summer!

You'll be living with three friendly, sociable girls in our mid-to-late twenties. We're all independent but enjoy catching up over dinner, so we're looking for someone who's keen to be part of the house rather than just renting a room.

• 2-minute walk to Tooting Bec Underground station and bus stops.
• 10-minute walk to Balham (National Rail services to Victoria and London Bridge via Crystal Palace).

💷 Rent: £802.50 per month (bills usually £150–£200 depending on the time of year)

📅 Available from: 21st September

👀 Viewings: 20th August evening

A few practical bits:
• Referencing will be carried out by the letting agents.
• The security deposit is £1,009.50, which is protected in a government-approved tenancy deposit scheme. None of the previous tenants have ever had any issues getting their deposit back.
