Lovely Room With Own Bathroom - Tooting Bec

I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in this lovely flat in Tooting Bec, as my current housemate is moving out to live with her partner.

🏡 About the flat

It’s a lovely 2-bedroom flat just a few minutes’ walk from Tooting Bec tube station, with Balham Overground only a 5–10 minute bus ride away. Lidl, Tesco and Sainsbury’s are also all within easy walking distance, so you’ve got everything you need nearby.

The room is a good-sized unfurnished double, with sole use of the main bathroom (I have my own ensuite), plus two wardrobes/cupboards under the stairs for some extra storage.

The kitchen and living room are upstairs, which makes it a really nice social space. The living room furniture will be different from what’s shown in the photos.

Rent is £900 and bills currently come to around £150 each.

I’m 29 and work in marketing. I work from home two days a week and head into the office the other three.

I really love the flat and am looking for someone who will also see it as a home rather than just somewhere to sleep. I’m pretty easy-going and enjoy having a chat and a catch-up, but also totally appreciate having our own space.

Outside of work, I’m usually happiest chilling in front of the TV in the evenings, and I love going for walks, to the theatre and out for brunch. I’m definitely not a party girl, so I’d love someone like-minded who enjoys being social and would be up for a drink, dinner, walk or TV night together when we’re both free 😊

Ideally looking for someone who would enjoy spending time together in the flat when we're both free in the evenings, but equally feel completely comfortable doing your own thing.

📅 Move-in date

The move-in date is flexible, as Amy will be moving out a week or so before, so there’s a bit of flexibility around timing.
