Beautiful Room in Tooting Bec 10 min walk station

Hi all! 👋

I’m looking for someone to take over my room in our lovely Tooting flat from Wednesday 11th November.

I’m really sad to be leaving as it’s been such a great place to live, and my two housemates, Francesca and Neena, are both fabulous. 🫶

Francesca is an architect. She’s tidy, easygoing and great fun to live with. Neena works for the council and is super friendly, always up for a chat and really easy to get along with. Neena is currently in the process of buying a home, so is likely to be moving out later in the year, while Francesca will be staying in the flat.

The flat has a really nice balance socially. Everyone is respectful of each other’s space and we’re all happy doing our own thing, but we’re also always up for a chat, occasionally cooking together or heading out for a drink.

The room

The room will be unfurnished as I’ll be taking my furniture with me. However, I can leave the bed and mattress for £200 if wanted. They’re from IKEA, nearly new, and I’m the only person who has used them.

Rent and bills

Rent is £1,016.66 pcm, plus bills, which are usually around £150 per person per month. We split everything evenly and use Splitwise, which makes it really easy.

The deposit is £850 per person. The way we’ve always managed this when a new housemate moves in is that the incoming tenant transfers the full £850 deposit to the outgoing housemate. The outgoing housemate then leaves £50 with the remaining housemates to go towards having the flat professionally cleaned when the tenancy eventually comes to an end. This is in line with guidance we’ve previously received from the agency.

We’re looking for a young professional woman who is tidy, respectful, friendly and fun to live with. Ideally, someone who enjoys having their own space but is also up for a chat or doing something together every now and then.

We’ll be holding viewings on Tuesday 13 October and Wednesday 14 October from 19:00-20:30 , with all viewings taking place on the same day. If you’re interested, please send us a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a time for you to come and see the flat 😊
