About the room:
Large bedroom for couples situated on the top floor of a beautiful Victorian house. It has its own large bathroom right next door with roll top bath and walk-in shower. It also comes with two huge eaves in the bedroom for storage, as well as built in wardrobes and draws. There are sky lights and a window on the other side so the room gets great sunlight all day round! Please note the room will contractually come unfurnished, but the current housemates are happy to organise selling some bits if you need :)

Price- £924 each which includes all of the bills (total of £1848).

About our place:
- The house itself is a large Victorian property (bay windows? yes please). It’s very homely, and has been fully furnished by us when we moved in 2 years ago.
- Downstairs, the living room has a big sofa, dining table and a real fireplace!!! perfect for cosy winter film nights.
- There is a separate kitchen that comes with all your mod cons - 2 fridges, a freezer, a pantry and a dishwasher.
- There’s a separate downstairs loo with washing machine and yes, you guessed it.... tumble dryer!!!
- Lovely back garden that’s perfect for summer BBQs or a cheeky paddling pool during a heatwave.
- A bike shed out the front, shed out the back, and eaves for storage in the roof!
- Estate agents have been honestly superb and really receptive to anything that has come up.

About us:
- Now for the fun bit! You’ll be sharing with a carton of good eggs who have really made a house a home: Alex, Lauren and Chris.
- As roomates, we’re pretty sociable - love a board games night or a group roast dinner. We’re all working professionals who keep busy with our own lives, but still enjoy our catch ups in the kitchen/over a Traitors binge together!
- Mostly hung up our party hats but still enjoy an occasional boogie — we have lovely neighbours similar age to us who we get along with and catch up for a drink/quiz from time-to-time.
- Our current housemates are moving back to Australia, so we’re looking for another couple who are easy going, clean and fun to join our wonderful crib.

Alex - f, 28, project manager. Cats over dogs. Wears slippers 95% of the time. Trying to get into hiking but has calves like twiglets. Is terrible at writing ads that don’t make me sound like i’m 80?

Lauren - 33, Nurse. Queer, chatty Northerner, work as a nurse in the corporate sector; it’s slightly less soul destroying than it sounds, I promise. I love a little adventure, silly chats and boogies in the kitchen amongst other things. Will regale you with ridiculous A&E stories on request… sometimes not on request too. Mostly housetrained, will make the occasional family roast dinner.

Chris- 28. Scottish. Another NHS baddie, working in Psychology. Love football, but in a cool, fun way, I promise. Strange eating habits that may warrant a diagnosis, aside from that I’m a wonderful housemate. Big fan of the outdoors, slightly ugly animals with long noses, and pretentious coffee.

About the area:
- House is approx. 7 mins walk to Tooting Broadway station (Northern Line)
- We have the massive Tooting and Broadway markets within a few minute walk away — perfect for if you can’t be bothered cooking or fancy a happy hour drink — there’s always something going on here and lots of amazing food to try.
- Tooting Common is a short walk away (5 mins) which gets plenty of sun in summer and has a Parkrun, Tennis Courts, Café — all the good stuff!
