I have a spacious *unfurnished* double room available in the two bed flat I privately rent. The flat has been completely refurbished within the last 2 years, and is a beautiful, light, calm and cosy space as part of a Victorian conversion, with wooden floors throughout. There is a living room/kitchen (gas hob) with bay window and brick wall fireplace, the available master bedroom, a good sized bathroom with corner bath/shower, and then my room at the back. The flat is quiet and peaceful thanks to the residential area (and good double glazing!).

The available good sized bedroom (bedroom 1 in plan photo) is light and well proportioned, it also has a lovely exposed brick fireplace, and is a quiet room that looks out onto gardens. Please note the bedroom is offered unfurnished, but the rest of the flat is fully furnished.

Well connected with bus and train, the flat is a 7 minute walk to Bruce Grove overground taking you in to Liverpool Street in 30 minutes, or one stop (1min) to Seven Sisters on the Victoria Line, or walk there in 17 minutes. We are also a short walk from the green spaces of Lordship Rec, Downhills Park and Bruce Castle Park, the high street with a plethora of shops, well stocked corner shops, pubs, restaurants and local coffee jaunt With Milk.

Access: this is a first floor flat with steep stairs up from the front door.

Rent is £900/month + bills (approx £140/month for water, CT Band B, energy & internet). One months deposit. I’m three months into a years contract, and you will need to go through the OpenRent referencing process with the lovely landlords to be added to the contract.

About me: I am a freelance filmmaker documenting projects in the arts, heritage, community and education sectors. A clean, peaceful home is important, it’s more friends over for dinner than a party flat for sure. I like to cook when I’m in, and I love having music/radio in the background.

I am looking for someone kind, friendly and considerate to share my home with, who is up for a natter, perhaps share occasional meals and also do our own thing.

The flat is not suitable for someone to work from home full time, and when I work it’s from my studio. The room is available from May, but there is flexibility on this.
