Hello! I'm looking for a short term lodger (ideally 3-6 months but will consider other requests) to share my apartment in Tottenham Hale.

I've lived here for 13 years. The apartment is well located, a 5 minute walk from Tottenham Hale tube (20 minutes to Oxford Circus), and has a small balcony looking onto the River Lea.

The apartment is quiet, cosy and clean (a cleaner comes every two weeks).

The room has a small double bed (4 foot wide). You would have primary use of the main bathroom (I use my en-suite) so there's no worrying about coordinating morning routines. The room has a cute 1950s 'tallboy' with space to hang clothes as well as a few shelves and drawers. It also has a desk and chair. I'd be happy to discuss getting additional furniture if you wanted something specific that fits in the room.

There's a door from your bedroom onto the balcony.

There's an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room.

At the moment I work from home a lot of the time, and my office space is part of the open plan lounge, so during the day time the lounge isn't always accessible if I have meetings. But if you anticipate being around during the day time I've often managed to navigate around other people in the past.

There's super fast broadband.

Tottenham Hale is a major area of regeneration in London. I've been here for many years and it's changing rapidly around me.

There are 7-11 Tesco and Asda stores 3 mins walk away for food shopping, a 24-hr gym is 2 mins walk away, and there's a retail park 4-5 mins away with various shops such as Boots, Lidl, Costa Coffee etc.

The apartment is on the edge of the River Lea, and there are many green spaces and nice walks around the area such as the beautiful Walthamstow Wetlands, Europe's largest urban wetlands, a five minute walk away.

Within a short bus/tube journey you also have access to local spots such as Walthamstow Village and Stoke Newington, which both have lovely cafes/restaurants/bars.

I work in leadership development. I love film, theatre, literature, all things cultural. I'm an early riser for the gym before work, and am a fair weather runner.
